First day of Winter Orientation was fine, despite the nonsense essay I wrote for the BU Writing Assessment, sucky ID picture, and the cold. The %$#@& cold.

Met some people from the College of Engineering. Seemed like a nice bunch. One of them was from Kazakhstan. Half expected him to go "Hi! My name a [name]!" But alas, he looks nothing like Borat and his fine friend Azamath. Been itching to ask his opinion of that fine documentary though..

'Listened' to some talks which brought me back to high school li shir class. Fun times. Fun times. Took a little tour of the campus and did some more exciting stuff. Really exciting stuff.

First

First post, first day in Boston.. and I'm freezing my arse off. Despite El Niño and the relatively warm winter Boston is having, it's f***ing cold, wtf @#&*$% cold.

Bought a cap in sheer desperation to save my ears. Ahh, my numb fingers and hard nippies make me miss Manila -- Manila who is 13 hours into the future, Manila who harbors my heart, and Manila who has the nice and steamy weather. **Sigh**

Anyway, rode the T and took a sneak peak of Boston University before the official orientation tomorrow. Took in some sights but eventually surrendered to the cold, the f***ing @#&*$% cold.

Mmm Radisson Hotel, free internet, warm bed = paradise :D
